You will be wondering after reading the title how this is possible. How marketing and young minds are co related?

But I am pretty much sure that i would end up by concinving that this is possible. So, before understanding the title .

Let us discuss ….

What is marketing?

The word Marketing is derived from Latin word merctus(marketplace).

Marketing is the activity, set of institutions, and processes for creating, communicating, delivering, and exchanging offerings that have value for customers, clients, partners and society at large. So, through marketing we can convince any and can send message through this weapon.

One of great Digital Marketer in India Deepak Kanakaraju said that Marketing is based on science. Not on Creativity . So we can come upto this,

“Scientific temper is vital for India to enhance the competitive and innovative quotient of the country.If more pupils pursue STEM(Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics), then India can become a research hub with commensurate growth of innovation startups which can arrest brain drain and put India at the forefront of gaining global market”. — Times of India.

Some people will be Skeptical to this, but this is true.

How we Ignite Young Minds through Marketing?

To reach Young generation minds its only possible through Teaching, Mentoring and Advicing or through digitally.

Teaching is best weapon and profession to reach message to millions of people.

If I as a Teacher need to convince or teach something to young ones first i should have clear subject or topic on which i will be delivering to people. So, need to decide what service i would be providing so that people can reach out to get the benefit of the Service.

Teacher need services to deliver so that it would change Young generation minds.

How can we reach to the Audience so that they can benefit?

Marketing is only way to spread awareness of services which are provided by Teachers, Mentors, Entrepreneur,etc.

Will go through in depth of Understanding the Law of Marketing.

Fundamentals of Marketing :

Marketing is all about Understanding human and social needs . You need to understand what the people need for the hour, requirement, desire, wants to deliver the product.

So, now we are going to see how to approach people through marketing tactics.

If Marketing should get succeed we need to observe on 7p’s but more important are 4p,s.

1. Product:According to the customer needs we have to create product so that it can be delivered to customers or people to fulfil their needs.There will be both tangible good such as clothing or piece of software or Intangible like service or experience. We need to clear about the product that is unique from other products and what makes the product stand above the competition.

2. Price: First comes product after that immediate strategy would pricing of that product to give monetary value of the product and to make Business profit. Demand, Cost, Pricing trends among competitors, and government regulations are crucial factors that involve pricing.

3. Place: It plays an important role where our product should be available in some place so that it can reach to the customers . The primary motive of managing trade channels is to ensure that the product is readily available to the customer at the right time at the right place.

4. Promotion: The primary aim of Promotion is to spread brand awareness about the Product and Services.There are two ways of promoting the product i.e. Traditional sense and Online which is modern trend to promote and make awareness of the product and to make realize the importance of the product.

Remaining 3p’s are People, Packaging and Positioning …..So people plays major role, If consider the title we have to target Young minds. After that it comes Packaging and Positioning.

There are two types of Marketing, i.e.

  1. Traditional Marketing

In simple words, it refers to a marketing in any types which deals without online. It comes with Print, TV, Radio, Newspaper, Direct mail,etc. This is one of the oldest form of Marketing where this is tried and proved to be one of the best method to reach targeted audience for direct sales.

2. Digital Marketing

In this marketing, we approach through online like using Social media platforms to reach audience.This has been trending and has become wildly popular due to the Cultural, Technological and societal shift around us.

As everyone is available digital, this marketing has become more easier, convenient and cost — effective than traditional to reach direct audience globally. In this marketing, we can connect directly to audience at the right time at the right place if it is used properly.

Example: Let us discuss about Dr.APJ Abdul Kalam

He believed in the importance of a father, mother, and teacher in the nurturing of a corruption-free India as these are the people who develop the country’s future. He taught the youth to not only handle success but also how to handle failures.

Why Abdul Kalam is an inspiration for students?

A P J Abdul Kalam, the missile man of India and former president of India, remains an inspiration for many people across all age groups. His dedication and service towards science and technology was what made him the missile man of the country.

But, will discuss how everyone got to know about him is through Marketing like TV, Radio, Newspaper and now through online people made him famous through Videos, created Page regarding the works done by Kalam in Social Media Platforms.

So, I can end up saying that “ Through Marketing we can Ignite Young Minds”.

But is this possible for everyone to reach Young Minds?

No, for that someone needs to create trust through their Content, and need Personal Branding so that people can easily listen to you.

So, further will discuss about CATT Funnel, Integrated Digital Marketing and Personal Branding.

2. Attention(A): Now we cannot grab the attention just by creating good content, but we need to bring the attention to that content by SEO, Paid advertising, Social media, blogpost and many more.

3. Trust(T): After grabing the attention slowly we need to make trust on our services, products that could be done through email marketing and inviting for some free services so that they can build trust on us.

4. Transaction(T): After building trust on us, people can do transaction through our brand.

Integrated Digital Marketing

Example : India is best example of Integrity,

The state of togetherness or integrity despite the presence of infinite diversity. Unity in diversity is based on the concept where the individual has variations in physical qualities, skin colour, castes, creed, cultural and religious traditions, etc. are not seen as a dispute.

Same way, in Digital marketing there are multiple methods such as SEO, SEM, Email Marketing, Content Marketing,Social media marketing and so on

Each module is powerful on its own, but when they are combined in a unique way, it’s power goes up exponentially. It creates a snowball effect that is unstoppable.- DigitalDeepak.

Personal Branding

Personal branding is the practice of marketing people and their careers as brands.

Let us take examples of Great Personalities such as Elon Musk, APJ Abdul Kalam, Narender Modi, Amitabh Bachan, Steve Jobs and many more.

Everyone knows because of their Work and uniqueness in their Career and created Personal Brand.

Your personal brand is how you promote yourself. It is the unique combination of skills, experience, and personality that you want the world to see you. It is the telling of your story, and how it reflects your conduct, behavior, spoken and unspoken words, and attitudes.

The Secret of successful Personal branding is an maintaining Consistence with quality.

The Evolution of Personal brand follows some steps i.e.

  • Learning the new concepts and practising and remembering the facts.
  • Working on the concepts or new skills which we learnt is very important i.e. Learning to Implementation
  • Blogging on whatever we learned and implemented through work is must to excell in the concepts.when we write we understand it better to build our personal brand.
  • Consulting others through your work and through your blog to make your brand stronger.
  • Mentoring is the next step for further creating you brand awareness in mass and creating others like you.
  • Startup: Start you own product or services so that people can reach upto you in mass. So, that youe understanding will go upto next level.

So, combining above steps to make a blueprint of Personal brand i.e also called MassTrust Blueprint.
